Discipline begins at home

Parents, Your Role Matters Most

The upbringing of a child begins at home. While teachers guide, support, and nurture students in school, the foundation of discipline, respect, and good values must first be laid by the family. A child spends much more time at home than in the classroom, which makes your role in shaping their behavior and character the most significant.

At times, children may need correction, and when teachers step in to guide them, it is only for their growth and betterment. Your encouragement and cooperation in this process send a powerful message to your child—that home and school work together for their success.

For the sake of their future, spend quality time with your children, instill good morals, and help them develop into responsible and confident individuals. Remember, teachers can help shape your child’s journey, but the first and strongest influence will always be you.
